Project History | ||||||||||||||||||
![]() | In march 1996 Herts Young Mariners Base held a music project P.A.P., the aim of the project was for young people in the local area to write, produce and record an original song. The project lasted seven months and the group released an album of 9 songs called Why not you by Waterfront. The mercury picked up on the story and album sold some copy?s. | |||||||||||||||||

Three years is a long time, things have changed, technology has changed. We are now able to cut compact disks. I intend to run other project's over 4 sessions, 3 sessions will be at your club concentrating on the production of the song and song cover. The last session will be at St Albans studio in Alma Road recording the product. Project Time Table Week One Meeting by all interested parities to discuss type of song, a start to the song will be made. Week Two Start artwork for cover inside and out, finish basic out line for song. Week Three One group of people will arrange the cover by using a laptop and word programme with a template for c.d. covers. The rest of the group will rehearse final song.
